Another crowded day on Tairua beach...
Great waves for swimming and surfing. The beach is dog friendly, except for between 16 Dec and 28 Feb, when they are aren't allowed between 10am and 7pm. Sailor's Grave beach (5 mins drive up the road) is dog friendly all year round, and is a friendlier beach for learning to surf!
View accross the harbour from the estuary out to Paku.
